The MetaMask team warned users about a fake airdrop

Wallet provider MetaMask has issued a warning: scammers are spreading false rumors about an upcoming token airdrop on March 31st.

The MetaMask team said they have no plansany public actions on the specified date, urging their customers to be vigilant when visiting dubious sites and not to believe the promises of intruders.

“These rumors are not only false, but also dangerous. They create opportunities for scammers and phishers,” MetaMask representatives warned.

In an interview with journalists, Lubin said that his company is now “trying to decentralize MetaMask” and has plans to “widely distribute the platform token.”
