The hacker who hacked into the Poly Network project refused the $ 500 thousand reward.

The attacker did not accept the reward that the protocol developers offered him for the returnstolen cryptocurrency.

The developers of the Poly Network project suggestedto the hacker who broke the protocol and stole $ 611 million, a reward of $ 500 thousand for returning the stolen funds. The hacker refused the monetary reward. This was announced by the founder of the analytical company Elliptic, Tom Robinson, who tracked the hacker's communication with representatives of the hacked project through empty Ethereum transactions.

The attacker decided to return the stolen fundsin the morning of August 11. This happened after the creators of the project explained to the hackers that they committed the biggest theft in the history of the sphere of decentralized finance (DeFi), so the authorities of many countries will persecute them.
