The number of users of the Bitcoin ecosystem continues to grow at a rapid pace.
UserTwitter IncomeSgarks, citing dataGlassnode service, said that the number of addresses on the BTC network has already exceeded the same indicator recorded on the blockchain at the end of 2017, when the first cryptocurrency reached $ 20,000.
One of the graphs presented by the observershows how the dynamics of BTC movement correlates with a growing number of addresses on the network. As of February 20, 2020, the total number of bitcoin addresses reached 615,463,205. Of these, 28,728,292 addresses have a balance greater than zero.
Also to note the number of addresses with more than 1 $ BTC have continued to go up. There are lots more charts like this at https://t.co/4PBxBQ7S12 pic.twitter.com/ftNYzTOgS6

In this case, only 788 101 bitcoin-wallet contains at least one bitcoin, and 10 or more coins contain 154 689 addresses.
The network has 16,247 wallets with 100 or more BTCs, and 2,156 addresses with 1,000 or more bitcoins. Only 105 wallets hold 10,000 or more bitcoins, it follows from the materials of the Glassnode service.
Historical data shows that as the value of the first cryptocurrency rises, the trend of increasing the number of Bitcoin addresses will dominate. BTC is becoming an increasingly attractive asset.
In the Bitcoin ecosystem, there is a growing number of so-called “hodlers” or fans of the cryptocurrency who do not sell the coin even when it goes down.
