The creators of the game ZED RUN launched their metaverse

Founder of the digital horse racing gameZED RUN believes that users of metaverses should be told stories and immersed in the plot, and not just allowed to wander aimlessly in a virtual sandbox.

Chris Laurent announced the launchnew metaverse of Human Park and shared in an interview his vision of the future of the industry. In his opinion, a successful virtual world should be a mixture of games, entertainment and social interactions, united by one big story narrative:

“I see the future of metaverses not just ingathering of people on one virtual platform. “And the fact is that when a person returns home from work, instead of Netflix, he will connect to the metaverse to continue adventures with his friends in the digital world, moving along a flexible plot.”

Human Park is a three-dimensional world,created using Epic Games' Unreal Engine, which was used for games such as Fortnite and Borderlands. The special feature of Human Park is that users will be able to customize their game avatars. Also in the metaverse, as the company says, much attention is paid to the plot.

At the same time, force players to go through the storyno one is going to, Laurent assures. If someone just wants to play a sandbox game or chat with friends, meet other players, they can do that.

According to Laurent, what such people are now preparinglarge corporations like Meta (formerly Facebook) and Microsoft for metaverses might work. At this stage of the industry’s development, everything is possible, and in the future we may be holding working meetings in virtual space, and some companies will completely switch to working in metaverses.

Earlier, science fiction writer Neal Stephenson, who first coined the term “metaverse,” announced that he would participate in the launch of a new blockchain focused on metaverses.
