The court allowed Ripple to gain access to the internal documents of the SEC

Ripple's lawyer will be able to study the Commission's internal documents revealing the regulator's "views and decisions"regarding cryptocurrencies.

Justice of the Peace Sarah Netburn Allowed Ripplestudy the minutes of SEC meetings and documents related to the interpretation of cryptocurrencies. The Ripple Defender will not have access to personal correspondence and emails. The SEC still has time to challenge the ruling.

On April 6, attorney Jeremy Hogan released a 2016 document in which the SEC calls Ripple “a company that specializes in digital currencies.”

According to him, the Commission will now have to explain how “digital currencies” turned into “digital securities”.

Nevertheless, the SEC side is not going to give up. Commission spokesman Dagan Bliss criticized the defendants and said they were simply trying to change the subject. He declared:

We need to focus on Ripple's illegal activities.

Despite the ongoing SEC litigation, XRP is up more than 100% this month, setting a high of around $ 1.10.
