The authorities of the Chinese province of Anhui announced plans to use new technologies, includingblockchain and artificial intelligence, to optimize the business environment and the provision of public services.

According to the local Xinhua news agency,The main goal of using new technologies will be to digitize the management infrastructure of Anhui Province and accelerate the collection and exchange of government data and resources. The introduction of new technologies, such as blockchain and artificial intelligence, will provide public services without days off and at any time of the day.

Last year, the central government of Chinaapproved recommendations according to which Anhui Province needs to increase efforts to develop blockchain, cloud computing and artificial intelligence. By 2025, 3% of the country's research budget and 65% of its own research budget should be spent on these needs by the region.

Earlier it was reported that China is extremely positive about the blockchain. Distributed registry technology is used by both government agencies and private companies across the country.
