The release date of the coins depends on how quickly the Polkadot developers can activate the parachain.

Most likely, Tether will launch stablecoins on the first available parachain – StateMint.
Before issuing coins on Polkadot, Tether will launch on Kusama.The project will launch parachains about two weeks before Polkadot.Kusama is an additional Polkadot network, a cross between a testnet and a standalone blockchain.
Recall that earlier Tether issued USDT on the Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron, EOS, Solana and Bitcoin Cash blockchains.Tether also supports several layer-two solutions – zkRollups and Liquid Network.
