Tendermint, Citizen Cosmos and Cyber ​​Academy to Host $ 38,000 Hackathon

Astronauts and hackers, buckle up and get ready for the Internet of Blockchains. IBC has finally landed. HakaiDeFi, the biggest crypto trend right now in Cosmos!

HackAtom RU 2021 - hackathon dedicated to Cosmos andthe IBC protocol for the most creative hackers. Our space mission will focus on "connecting (bridging) DeFi to Cosmos!" IBC is already here and we want to see it from any porthole in the entire blockchain galaxy.

This time we focus primarily onRussian-speaking hackers, but we invite everyone to take part in our hackathon. To make it convenient for everyone, we will take care of translations throughout the entire hackathon. This will include some ceremonies, some workshops and a demo day.

What's in the program?

The hackathon will open a series of workshops where youlearn how to develop a blockchain for exchanging tokens via IBC, measure the performance of blockchains, turn on-chain data into an analytical tool, develop and use smart contracts with CosmWasm, create a distributed database with Tendermint and secret applications.

In the second part of the hackathon, in a team with othershackers will build infrastructure for DeFi in their own projects. In the final, the jury will evaluate the technical execution, uniqueness, usability and product part of the projects.

What are the prizes?

  • Unicorn Prize: $ 8000 - for the creation of a blockchain based on the IBC protocol and Cosmos-SDK, which will solve the problems of DeFi.
  • Kitty Prize: $ 5000 - for creating NFT projects using the Cosmos-SDK.
  • Fox Prize: $ 5000 - for the creation of the IBC infrastructure.
  • $ 1000 - for the project that received the majority of votes in the community.
  • 1000 $ - for the translation of technical documentation.

Special prizes:

  • Another $ 18,000 for solving sponsorship problems.
  • $ 50 gift card to purchase goods in the Cosmos store for each team for an application for participation.
  • Recording of a special edition of the Citizen Cosmos podcast with three winners.
