As reported by local publication iFeng, ChineseThe conglomerate issued a message to its employees in which it announced the search for the head of a new cryptocurrency research group. The group will focus on promoting Tencent's projects in the field of digital payments using blockchain.
The new research team may also help Tencent-owned WeBank develop applications for the nation's Blockchain-Based Service Network alliance.
