Telegram has unveiled a preview version of its desktop crypto wallet for the TON blockchain.
Anyone can now download an application for 64-bit OS from the official website of the project and get keys to work on the testnet. There are options to choose from for Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
After installation, it traditionally generates a 24-word passphrase needed to restore access, and asks for a password to confirm transactions. After that, the wallet is ready to go.
In order for users to experience the new product, the chatbot distributes Gram tokens for free, from 5 to 20. Funds arrive within a minute, but with a high load of the TON test network this may take longer.
The launch of the wallet took place despite the fact that the US Securities and Exchange Commission recently banned the company from selling tokens.
