The company's email states thatThe decision was made after a meeting with officials of the US Securities and Exchange Commission. In order to resolve all issues with the regulator, Telegram needs additional time before launching the cryptocurrency network. However, the deadline can only be extended with the consent of the majorityinvestors.
In addition, each of the groups of investors,participating in the first or second rounds of a closed ICO, will make a decision separately, therefore, the opposite results of voting are not excluded. In this case, on the day of launch, a smaller amount of Gram will be put into circulation.
