Telegram introduced Grams test wallet without SEC approval

The Telegram team has launched testing a crypto wallet for its Gram token.Newwallet users a small amount of cryptocurrency.

Grams Wallet Telegram is available on GitHub in test mode for MacOS, Windows, and  Linux.You can download the Gram wallet on the official website of the project. 

After installing the wallet, users will be able to control their Gram tokens without the help of intermediaries.To ensure security, the wallet uses a 24-word seed phrase and private keys to conduct transactions. 

Telegram also launched a special TestTonBot,through which you can get from 5 to 20 Gram tokens for each new user to test the wallet. Test transactions take less than a minute, with free traffic, and are reflected in the TON test network.

Initially, the token launch was supposed to take place before October 31, but the SEC stopped the launch with a court ruling.In September, the project team released a testnet and presented software and a block explorer for TON. 

In October, Telegram received investor approval to postpone the launch until April 31, 2020, to buy more time to clarify the situation with the SEC, and published the terms of use of the Grams Wallet.Despite the postponement of the SEC court hearing to February 18-19, 2020, Telegram did not stop preparations for the launch of the blockchain project and the Gram digital currency.
