Telegram has published terms of use for the Grams Wallet wallet

Telegram has released a terms of use agreement for its recently launched Grams wallet.Wallet.

In the “Use of Services” section the companystates that it will not be able to control the public and private keys of Gram owners (as well as other sensitive data such as backup phrases). Therefore, as with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, the holder is solely responsible for the management of their tokens. 

The company is not responsible for any loss to the user, as well as for any lost Gram tokens and other currencies.

In addition, Telegram states that the TON blockchainwill function independently. The company of Pavel Durov will not be able to control the processing and verification of TON transactions conducted by Gram owners, as well as to control the size or type of fees on the network.

However, Telegram reserves the right toterminate any services provided by the Grams wallet “at any time and for any reason”. In addition, the user bears responsibility for compliance with the laws of his jurisdiction.

Grams Wallet will be integrated into Telegram's flagship messaging app and will also be offered as a standalone product.
