Telegram blockchain project announces launch of software for nodes and blockchain exporter

The Telegram blockchain project, TON, is in the final stages of preparation for the full launch of the network.

Yesterday in Friday, on the test network portal waspublished code to run blockchain nodes. Now developers and community members interested in creating blockchain applications can start working with the full node, validator node and blockchain explorer.

The release was previously scheduled for September 1, but after some reason was delayed for several days.

According to Mitya Goroshevsky, technicalDirector of TON Labs, who is working on developing tools for developers, currently supports 100 Telegram nodes in the test network. A few more are supported by his startup, led by investors in the sale of Telegram tokens, which in early 2018 raised $ 1.7 billion.

Source code for a full node to accesscreating and checking blocks on the net. Light client was released a few months ago. TON Labs will release a public beta of its developer toolkit on Monday, Goroshevsky told CoinDesk.

The launch of the main Telegram Open Network shouldtake place no later than October 31. According to information received from representatives of TON Labs, the blockchain of the project will be compatible with Ethereum-based software.
