Telecommunications giant acquires Polkadot tokens

Deutsche Telekom AG's subsidiary T-Systems Multimedia Solutions (MMS) is no stranger to the world of blockchain technology. INTherefore, it is not surprising that the telecommunications giant has acquired a significant number of Polkadot DOT blockchain tokens.

Polkadot is the brainchild of Ethereum co-founder Gavin Wood and was created to host various interconnected application-specific sub-chains, also known as parachains.

The head of the MMS blockchain solutions center, Andreas Dittrich, added that the company plans to launch many private and public validators for the Polkadot network.

In addition, T-Systems Multimedia Solutionsintends to develop its own applications on the blockchain programming platform Polkadot Substrate. It allows developers to create a blockchain with the functions required for a specific project.
