Smart Dubai representatives said they are workingwith the government and the private sector to introduce innovative technologies throughout the emirate. Thanks to this cooperation, the sectors of finance, education, real estate, tourism, commerce, healthcare, transport and security will be able to use blockchain technology to increase work efficiency.
Currently, more than 100 blockchain companies operate in Dubai. Back in 2018, about 50 apartments were sold in the city for BTC.
Let us recall that the government of the emirate had previouslyannounced its plans for a complete transition to blockchain by 2020. Visa applications, utility bills, payment of fines – Such operations, which currently require a lot of paperwork, must become completely electronic.
