Samsung Launches an Interactive World in the Roblox Metaverse

South Korean electronics manufacturer Samsung intends to introduce younger generations to its history and products through an interactive world within the Roblox metaverse.

The interactive world of Space Tycoon willrepresent a space station where players can mine resources for the development and production of Samsung products. The virtual world will also allow you to purchase items for player avatars in a special store. First of all, the project is aimed at a young audience whom the company wants to introduce to the brand and its products.

“We want to give our generational customersZ opportunity to experience Samsung products like never before. We will continue to showcase content that can provide more meaningful and engaging experiences for both current and future customers,” said Jinsoo Kim, vice president of Samsung's Corporate Design Center.

The company participated in the development of severalsoftware products focused on games and entertainment. The firm is currently actively developing a number of projects in this area, including a non-fungible token (NFT) trading platform launched in partnership with Nifty Gateway and compatible with Samsung's new line of smart TVs.

The company also invests in developers,specializing in creating platforms for metaverses. In April, Samsung participated in a funding round for Korean metaverse startup Doubleme, and in January the company launched its own metaverse store, Decentraland.

Let us recall that Samsung previously completed testing of 3-nanometer chips intended for ASIC miners and began test production.
