The Stellar Development Foundation (SDF), a non-profit organization that supports the development and growth of the Stellar network, announcedintegration of the Stellar network into the Samsung Blockchain Keystore. This integration will allow Stellar (XLM) users to securely store private keys on select Samsung Galaxy smartphones.

Stellar blockchain services are already available viaSamsung Blockchain key store, which allows developers of the Stellar ecosystem to create blockchain-based apps and services for Samsung Galaxy smartphones in addition to existing Stellar-based products and apps.

SDF will partner with Samsung to expand andimproving user interaction with the blockchain ecosystem, working with developers who have built a network on Stellar and have included the corresponding SDKs in their applications to use the Samsung Blockchain key store. Together they will recruit and support developers in the Stellar ecosystem.

«Integration of Stellar into the key vaultSamsung Blockchain is an important step for our network and the ecosystem of applications built on this platform. Samsung offers a user-friendly key management solution that promotes wider adoption of blockchain technology. With this integration, we have opened the door to new users who can benefit from the combined innovations of Stellar and Samsung»- said the CEO and CEO of SDF Denelle Dixon.

«We are just beginning to work together to enable more developers and users to use blockchain and the capabilities this integration provides.»
