According to Chainalysis, Eastern European countries lead the way in money laundering on the dark web.

In 2020, Hydra accounted for over 75% of the global darknet market. For several years now, the platform has been planning to raise about $ 146 million through ICOs to expand its activities.

Chainalysis has completed its report with the ten countries with the highest volume of crypto transactions passing through the darknet markets, with Russia, the United States and Ukraine topping the list.

In Russia, the annual turnover of cryptocurrencies on the dark webamounted to almost $300 million. Second place was taken by the Americans, who made transactions worth $180 million. In third place are Ukrainians – The annual turnover on illegal sites amounted to almost $100 million.
