According to the CEO of Ripple, the third cryptocurrency project by capitalizationcan hold an IPO inthis year.
During the Davos Economic Forum, Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple, told The Wall Street Journal:
In the next 12 months, we will see many IPOs in the cryptocurrency/blockchain market.We won't be the first, we won't be the last, but I expect us to lead the way.
Last month, Ripple managed to raise $200 million in a Series C funding round.Now, the blockchain firm is valued at $10 billion.
Recall that Garlinghouse recently stated that the company has no intention of "dumping" its own token.However, according to The Block, Ripple sold a total of $1.22 billion worth of tokens.
