Quarantined Kiev: BlockchainUA conference postponed to May 22

In connection with the coronavirus epidemic, the Kyiv authorities announced a quarantine.will last until the end of the month, said the mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Vitali Klitschko.

Despite the fact that the coronavirus has not yet been diagnosed in Kiev, local authorities impose quarantine as preventive measures.

In particular, they will temporarily close all educational institutions, entertainment centers and limit the holding of public events.

In this regard, the eighth BlockchainUA conference, scheduled for March 20, is postponed to the end of May.

"In connection with the official statement of the mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko about the restriction of mass events in the city, we are forced to postpone BlockchainUA to May 22.We ask all participants of the conference to treat the current force majeure situation with understanding,"the organizers of the conference said in a comment to ForkLog.
