Pornhub Takes Stablecoin Tether Now

The world's largest porn site Pornhub has added new payment methods, among which there is USDT.

In November PayPalannounced that it will no longer provide its PornHub services, leaving thousands of porn site models without the possibility of receiving a money transfer.

Referring to PayPal's decision to suspend payments,The adult website has announced the addition of new payment options aimed at solving the problem of standard payments. Among the new options – USDT, a stablecoin created by the crypto exchange Bitfinex in collaboration with Tether.

The official blog says:

Thanks to the partnership of USDT with the Tron blockchain, we can conduct safe and fast transfers to our models using the TRONLink cryptocurrency wallet.

Tron CEO Justin Sun quickly reacted to the news. In his tweet, he called the models "victims of centralized payment platforms such as PayPal."

Pornhub started a partnership with cryptocurrency two years ago, starting to accept Tron and Zencash as a means of paying for content.
