Panasonic introduced compact VR-glasses with support for HDR

Panasonic has developed the world's first virtual reality glasses supporting HDR video.

The presented glasses are much more compact and lighter than existing VR headsets. They are equipped with small micro OLED screens, interchangeable lenses, and look like a steampack accessory.

Support for High Dynamic Range Imaging technology significantly improves the quality of the reproduced video stream, removing annoying texture gratings, so even small elements look more realistic.

Kopin Corporation helped in the development of Panasonic's new glasses.plan to start mass production in 2021 and make a commercial versionlighter so that it can be used comfortably for a long time.
