The founder of Risk Reversal Advisors believes the US government will prohibit corporations from replacing the dollar with Bitcoin.
According to Dan Nathan, “the government will do everything to ensure that the dollar remains the world's reserve currency.” A direct threat to this – large companies that are moving their reserves into Bitcoin.
In an interview with CNBC, he stated:
The US government and Treasury will not allow corporations to continue to replace the dollar with bitcoin. They can introduce such laws that will not seem a little. Regulators can do this if they wish.
After Tesla's investment in Bitcoin, many analystssuggest that other large companies will follow Elon Musk's example and invest in BTC. Twitter Inc., has already announced that it plans to add bitcoin as a reserve currency, as well as pay its employees in BTC.
As reported, Counterpoint Global – division of Morgan Stanley Investment Management – is also exploring the possibility of investing in Bitcoin.
