Cryptocurrency exchange OKX has received a license in Dubai and plans to open a headquarters in the emirate.
IssuedVirtual Assets Regulatory AuthorityThe Dubai license will allow OKX to provide "an approved list of products and services to qualified investors and financial service providers in the UAE in a secure and regulated manner."
Lennix Lai, CEO of the exchange, promised to continue to “innovate within a regulated framework” and noted the prospects for the fast-growing market in the MENA region.
Previously, FTX and Binance received similar licenses in Dubai.
Recall that OKX will become a sponsor of the football club "Manchester City" in the new season of the English Premier League.
