According to a study by Binance Research, most cryptocurrency users follow a long-term storage strategy.
More than61 thousand users from 178 countries. The findings showed that 55% of cryptocurrency holders keep them as long-term investments. 38% chose them due to distrust of the current financial system, 31% use them for short-term trading, and 27% because of the loss of profit syndrome.
At the same time, 28% of respondents use most of their cryptocurrency forpurchases of other digital assets, and 22% are held to generate income through staking or landing. Only 11% of owners use cryptocurrency mainly for payments.
The survey also showed that bitcoin remainsthe most popular digital asset, owned by 65% of survey participants. In most cases, MTC accounts for 1-20% of the portfolio. Only 3% of respondents regretted their decision to buy cryptocurrencies.
