More than 4,040 bitcoins at an auction of the US Marshals Service were bought by two buyers

The US Marshals Service (USMS) has completed an auction of just over 4,040 seized Bitcoins.previously law enforcement. Digital assets went to two winners, reports The Block.

This is not the first auction to sell the first cryptocurrency organized by USMS - last fall the agency sold 660 BTC.

Recall, for the first time in a similar way, the service soldin 2014, 30,000 bitcoins confiscated from the darknet site Silk Road. All lots put up for auction were bought by well-known venture investor Tim Draper.
