Migros Bank poll shows growth in confidence in cryptocurrency in Switzerland

This allows business owners and ordinary users to easily add cryptocurrencies to their investment portfolios. The Swiss city of Zug employs about 800 cryptocurrency companies, employing more than 4,000 people.

Swiss banks strive to work withcryptocurrency companies, offering them relevant products and services. Last August, the Swiss financial regulator also approved two cryptocurrency banks.

Intervista Market Research Institute andZurich-based Migros Bank conducted a survey on the savings behavior of people of different age groups and concluded that the popularity of cryptocurrencies among Swiss residents is growing, and people are not afraid to store their funds in these assets.

The respondents were divided into two age groups.groups - from 18 to 29 years old and from 30 to 55 years old. 7% of participants in these groups already had cryptocurrencies, and 13% of those surveyed from the younger group said that the role of digital assets will increase over time. About 7% of respondents from the senior group also said they were going to invest in cryptocurrencies.

In general, the Swiss tend to make moneysavings, but older people are more careful about digital currencies. More than 90% of people between the ages of 18 and 55 make savings on a regular basis, while at the age of over 55 this indicator drops to 80%.

It is also interesting that more than 67% of people under 30years, 52% of people between 30 and 55 years old and 61% of people over 55 years of age can save about 1000 Swiss francs ($ 1017.4) per month as savings.
