During a live broadcast on YouTubeOn August 26, Metamask senior software engineer Eric Marks said the team is considering launching their own token.
While Marx acknowledged that holding an ICO couldraise the price of the coin, he is worried about the possibility of a dump. Therefore, the team plans to distribute the cryptocurrency through the airdrop. The exact timing of the launch of the token is still unknown.
