On December 18, 2020, someone registered a trust called Grayscale Chainlink with the Delaware Clerk's Office.
In thatthe same day the secretariat was alsoregistered trusts for Basic Attention Token (BAT), Decentraland (MANA), Livepeer (LPT), and Tezos (XTZ). According to the documents, the agent of the trusts is the Delaware Trust Company.
The official Grayscale website states thatDelaware Trust Company is the company's official service provider. When the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust was registered in 2013, the Delaware Trust Company was also an agent.
Grayscale Investments has not yet officially confirmed the creation of trusts.
In case Grayscale is planning a trust for LINK, its launch will take place soon. The company registered the Filecoin Trust (FIL) last October, but it has not yet been launched.
Chainlink recently surpassed Bitcoin Cash (BCH) to become the 8th cryptocurrency with a market cap of over $ 9 billion. LINK's all-time high was set at around $ 23.30.
