Marvel Comics and DC Comics have banned comic book authors from selling their work as non-fungible tokens (NFT). Bloomberg reports.</p>
According to the publication, both companies plan to use their collections of characters and comics in the NFT market. In June, Marvel announced a partnership with the VeVo platform.
In March, former DC comic book author Jose Delbo teamed up with cryptoartists Hackatao to raise $ 1.85 million selling NFT with superhero Wonder Woman.
Later, DC Comics senior vice president of legal affairs Jay Kogan sent letters to the publisher's artists demanding that they refuse to sell non-fungible tokens.
