Louisiana Law Proposal Announces Bitcoin as New Currency Reserve

The Louisiana House of Representatives passed a bill that thanks Bitcoin and its creator under the pseudonymCatoshi Hakamoto for "putting in the safety of the electronic com- munication".

It says that the flagship cryptocurrency can become a new reserve asset that has supplanted gold:

«Bitcoin has the potential to replace gold as a cash reserve, it is limited and finite, only twenty-one million Bitcoins will be produced.».
