Lex Sokolin: “Libra can lure most developers from other projects”

According to ConsenSys top manager Lex Sokolin, if the Libra stablecoin is successful, the project couldlure a large number of developers from other projects.

During the Scoop podcast, Sokolin expressedthe opinion that, in the event of a successful launch, Libra can drag most developers from other open source projects. That is, such decentralized projects will develop much more slowly.

“At the moment, if you think about it, there is practically no place to develop in the field of decentralized software, with the exception of Ethereum,” he said.

Moreover, if the audience and assets of LibraIf it is 100,000 times more Ethereum, it is not surprising that developers will create their applications in this ecosystem. Moreover, the launch of Libra requires regulatory approval.

“If Congress says: “We like Libra, they provided all the documents and it is on this network that we will test our national currency,” and given that the project is supported by the largest companies in Silicon Valley, that it has billions of potential users, then this will attract a huge number of developers, ” stressed Sokolin.

Let's remember that First CEO Ran Goldstein recently stated that the Libra stablecoin will be successful within 10 years.
