Kia Motors has announced that it plans to install ultra-fast charging systems on all of its future electric vehicles, not limited to just flagship models.

The South Korean automaker claims that the innovation will reduce charging time and reduce the mass of the transmission.

Kia plans to start producing electric carsnext generation in 2021, and by 2025 to introduce at least 11 models, some of which will receive an 800-volt charging system. The company has not yet provided a list of models, but said that they will be createdbased on a new platform designed specifically to blur the boundaries between passenger and sports cars.

Engineers are also developing technologybatteries, which will allow you to travel up to 500 km without stopping, and with ultra-fast system charging to replenish energy will take less than 20 minutes. Although it is still longer than a traditional refueling, but given the amount of stored energy, this is a fairly short pit stop.
