Justin Sun Couldn't Change Warren Buffett's Attitude Toward Cryptocurrencies

Investor and crypto skeptic Warren Buffett said that the meeting with TRON founder Justin Sun was in no wayinfluenced his attitude to cryptocurrencies.

“Cryptocurrencies have no value and produce nothing, — Buffett once again stated. “Their value is zero.”

Sun won the opportunity to dine with Buffett onin a charity auction where he paid $ 4.57 million. After meeting with a well-known investor, Sun announced that he gave Buffett his first bitcoin and TRX tokens.

“Buffett Now Owns Bitcoin,” — San said.

However, Buffett himself, as it turned out, refers to this differently.

“I have never had and never will have any cryptocurrencies,” — he said in a conversation with CNBC.

In the past, the Oracle from Omaha spoke several times about bitcoin in a negative way, calling cryptocurrency “rat poison squared”, “trick” and “tool for gambling”.

He also commented on the meeting with San.

"Justin and his friends stood firm in their position, which they believe in. It was a friendly lunch that lasted three and a half hours. We exchanged opinions in a fairly friendly manner,” — he said, adding that neither he nor Sun had changed their minds about cryptocurrencies.

Together with San, they came to a meeting with Buffett: Litecon creator Charlie Lee, Huobi CFO Chris Lee, head of the Binance charity Helen Hai, and eToro founder Yoni Assia.
