John McAfee: Bitcoin will never be worth $ 1 million

At the beginning of 2018, McAfee predicted that by the endIn 2020, one Bitcoin will cost $1 million. The antivirus guru stuck to his two-year forecast until January of this year. Then he stated that his forecast – This is  just a publicity stunt to attract interest in cryptocurrency.

The former presidential candidate even criticized Bitcoin, calling it ancient technology such as Model T, the first Ford car.

In his tweet on May 30, McAfee once again ridiculed hisa $ 1 million forecast, this time mockingly stating that crypto enthusiasts should have noticed “absurd humor” in an ambitious forecast. "What idiot could believe such nonsense?" he asked ironically.

John McAfee, founder of McAfee Antivirus, alwayswas a rather eccentric businessman. A few years ago, he became interested in the crypto industry and even became one of the most active supporters of bitcoin with overly optimistic forecasts. However, his forecasts are in no hurry to come true.
