Another mistake cost an unknown Bitcoin trader $47,000.
An unknown person paid 2.66038352 bitcoins(more than $47,000) for shipping at just 0.01088549 VTS (or $194.66).
In all likelihood, this was a simple error, as the user manually set the commission when translating the VTS.
Similar things have happened before – in Junelast year, someone made an even more costly mistake by paying a $2.6 million fee to send $130 in ETH. This was the highest transaction fee ever paid for an Ethereum transfer.
At the end of October, crypto-kitsc could make the most cost-effective transaction, moving BTC worth more than $1 billion from Xapo's bitcoin wallet to an unknown address and paying only $3 for the transfer.
