Internet giant Baidu begins public beta testing of Xuperchain blockchain platform

Chinese Internet giant Baidu has launched a public beta version of its own blockchain platform Xuperchain.reports The Block.

The network is built on the basis of the previous proposalBaidu «blockchain as a service» (BaaS). However, the new platform does not require users to create the blockchain themselves, which reduces the cost of deploying applications.

Xuperchain is managed by several master nodes and uses parallel circuit technology to simplify the processing of smart contracts.

Developers and companies can create decentralized applications, smart contract templates and related functions for the specific needs of their business.

Until March, the cost of deploying the application on the network will be 1 yuan ($ 0.14).

The Xuperchain base code was opened in May 2018. The company has a network of 3.5 million users and 450 million transactions completed.

Previously, Baidu launched a blockchain platform for finance and copyright protection for images.
