El Salvador could become the first country in the world to offer a unique and efficient method of mining BTC at renewable energy.

President Nayib Bukele announced that the countryconsidering the possibility of mining BTC using the energy of volcanoes. Recall that this week El Salvador decided to legalize bitcoin as a means of payment.

President Bukele asked for help fromstate geothermal power company LaGeo. In a tweet, the president stated that El Salvador will mine BTC "using very cheap, 100% clean, 100% renewable energy with zero emissions."
