Hypra Venture Fund: Ukrainian crypto companies raised $1 billion

The Ukrainian investment fund Hypra announced that more than 80 Web3 companies have started operating in the country since 2017.

Most capital for development succeededattract startups developing their products on the NEAR Protocol project: a record $524 million. They are closely followed by projects using the Solana blockchain for their solutions ($315.8 million). The rest raised from $2.6 million to $58 million. Some startups failed to attract investors' money all this time.

Hypra analysts claim that more than 50Ukrainian crypto companies entered the international market with their products and services. In addition, 10 international investment companies specializing in the cryptocurrency market were founded by people from Ukraine. The leaders among national funds in terms of the number of relevant portfolios are ZBS Capital (82), TA Ventures (6), Hypra (4) and SID Fund (3).

Recently, an inter-factional association of deputiesBlockchain4Ukraine and the public union "Virtual Assets of Ukraine" ("VAU") announced that they are going to legislatively promote the implementation of blockchain technologies and Web3.

According to experts from the international audit company KPMG, in 2021 global investment in digital currencies and technologies related to them increased by 5.5 times.
