The Messari platform has added 10 new exchanges to its “real volumes” parameter and upgraded its technologywork.
Messari rating – this is an attempt to rankexchanges for real trading volumes, not speculative transactions. The ranking shows 10 exchanges with actual volumes: Binance, Bitfinex, Bitflyer, Bitstamp, Bittrex, Coinbase Pro, Gemini, itBit, Kraken and Poloniex.
After the ranking technology wasmodernized, Huobi, OKEx, Liquid, Bithumb and UPBit were included in the list of 10 largest exchanges by volume. Binance continues to occupy the first place – which justifies CoinMarketCap's recent decision to rank exchanges by web traffic, which also placed Binance in first place.
The platform's new approach is that itcollects trading statistics from 10 third-party resources – CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, CryptoCompare, CryptoWatch (Kraken), Nomics, FTX’s, Chainalysis, as well as data from top traders.
