Hackers hacking Upbit exchange again moved stolen ETH

According to the Whale Alert service, the ethers stolen from the Upbit exchange in November last year are in motion again -hackers moved 1 897 ETH to an unknown address.

Popular Whale Transaction Tracking ServiceAlert reported that 1 897 ETH were transferred to an unknown wallet from one of the addresses associated with the hacking of the cryptocurrency exchange Upbit. The translation was made on May 6 at 11:24 Moscow time.

Cost of displaced ETH equivalent of $ 395,041at the rate at the time of transfer. A total of 342,000 ETH was stolen from the Upbit exchange, with 55,000 ETH transferred to an unknown address a week after the hack. The latest transfer emptied the wallet of the hackers, but this is not the only address associated with hacking.

Recall that earlier the prosecutor accusedthe management of the Upbit cryptocurrency exchange in market manipulations, however, in February, the Seoul Southern District Court acquitted the leaders of the site and dropped all charges of fraud from them.
