Gucci stores will be able to pay with cryptocurrencies

The experiment will be carried out in stores located inUSA. QR codes with addresses of crypto wallets for transferring coins will be sent to the e-mail of customers of merchants who want to pay for their purchases with digital assets.

Gucci is going to support over 10 different digital assets, including

3. Dogecoin (DOGE);
4. Ethereum (ETH);
5. Litecoin (LTC);
6. Shiba Inu Coin (SHIB);
7. Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC);
8. Five stablecoins pegged to the dollar.

Gucci's interest in virtual currencies is notlimited to crypto payments. In February, the creative director of the company, Alexandre Michel, together with the artists Janku and Guggimon, released a collection of non-fungible SUPERPLASTIC tokens: SUPERGUCCI. In addition to NFT, buyers of unique coins received a ceramic sculpture of SuperJank, 20.32 cm high.
