Google Assistant introduces the ability to read a web page out loud with support for 42 languages

Google said that its assistant can now read aloud entire pages in a browser with the possibility of various settings.

To activate it, just say:"Hey Google, read this page." After which the program will begin to expressively read its contents aloud. In the menu, users will be able to adjust the tempo of recitation, as well as one of several voice options.

According to Yossi Mathias, vice president of Google, this feature will allow you to translate web pages into more than 42 languages, instantly converting text into natural speech. AtIn this case, the browser will independently select the content and automatically move the page.

Possible uses include listening to the news while driving, translating text while traveling, or helping people with low vision.

So far, the new feature is only available on the original Android platform for smartphones not lower than version 5.0.

However, advanced systems are capable of not only reading, but also composing. Recently, scientists have developed AI that generates poetry with a certain emotional overtones.
