Glassnode's latest report indicates “strong hands” ignore the current price decline and do not sell their assets.
Analysts say that despite the fall in BTC, long-term holders hold more than 75% of the circulating supply of bitcoin. Only 6% of these 75% are in unrealized loss.
According to experts at Glassnode, bull squeezes, which provoked the former rallies, as a rule, took place against the background of the fact that the hodlers held more than 65% of the turnover. For example, this was the case before the rally in 2013. In 2017, hodlers held 75%, and in 2020 as much as 80%.
Analysts predict that holders will be able to accumulate up to 80% of circulation in two months.
