GeekBrains teaches kids the basics of web development, cybersecurity and creating games in Java

The educational portal GeekBrains has announced the opening of enrollment in the training program on the basics of web development, cybersecurity and game creationfor students aged 11-17 who are interested in this field and want towork in this field.

The courses will keep children busy during the holidays, providing them not only with exciting leisure, but also with all-round development, and  parents will be givenProgramming trains logic, creative thinking, the ability to solve practical problems and the habit of working for results.

INcourse on creating games in Java studentscome up with a plot, write a code and launch a cross-platform role-playing 2D game. When learning the basics of web development, students will develop a site about their favorite game, superhero or musician, master the programmer's tools.

In a course on the basics of IT security, children will be taught how to prevent threats and resist hacker attacks. At the end of the training, they will have a vulnerability competition.

Students will be able to communicate with each other, develop together and embody ideas in final projects.The duration of each program  is three months.
