Game Developer Ubisoft Launches Its Own NFT Marketplace

Computer game developer Ubisoft announced the launch of its own NFT marketplace. It will be solddigital goods called Digits, each will receive a unique number. The project is based on the Tezos blockchain. After the company was announced, the altcoin of the same name went up sharply.

The first episode of Digits will be presented on December 9for the game Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Until the end of December, players will be able to receive the first NFTs for free during beta testing. They will then be sold for cryptocurrency, but initially the release will only take place in the USA, Canada, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Australia and Brazil.

In-game items can be put up for saleand outside the Ubisoft ecosystem. The Digits serial number will be displayed directly in the game. Each player can only have one item of a certain type. Also, all information about NFT will be stored on the blockchain.

Formerly American cinema chain AMC jointlyand Sony Pictures have announced a giveaway of NFT tokens based on the movie "Spider-Man: No Way Home." One of 108 tokens will receive the first 86 thousand online ticket buyers for the film's premiere on December 16.
