Former partner of Konstantin Malofeev acquired Gram cryptocurrency for $ 50 million

The owner of the offshore Space Investments, which invested $ 50 million in the Telegram Open Network (TON) blockchain platform, was InVenture Partners. This was reported by Kommersant with reference to data from the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

According to the department, in the second stageTON token sale in March 2018 Space Investments acquired Gram tokens by $ 91 million. Subsequently, the amount of investments was reduced - during 14 banking transactions from March to November 2018, Space Investments transferred $ 50.29 million to the Telegram team.

The postal address was indicated in the transaction agreement [email protected] on the InVenture Partners website domain. The founders of the company are Sergey Azatyan, the former managing director of the fund Konstantin Malofeev Marshall Capital, and a native of Morgan Stanley, investment banker Anton Inshutin.

InVenture Partners has not yet commented on this information. Inshutin, as it turned out, has not been working for the company since March 2018.

After token sale acquired by Space Investmentsthe tokens were on the Liquid cryptocurrency exchange, which managed to sell Gram and for $ 4 million. In January 2020, the platform announced its readiness to return money for the sold tokens.
