FC Spartak Moscow tokens soccer players on Sorare platform

Blockchain is coming to the world of Russian sports. Football club "Spartak" reports that it has become the first in thisa form of Russian sport, an organization that will, through partnership with the decentralized platform Sorare, develop an exchange of fans of blockchain images of football players.

The Sorare platform itself is a game inFantasy class - football of the future. The site is already used by 37 different football clubs in the world, and several dozen more intend to join it in the near future.

Sorare user can collect fiveblockchain images of football players, thereby creating a virtual team with which he can speak in matches. This team will be able to claim prizes for various achievements.

As explained by Alexey Vlasov, commercialDirector of Spartak, interest in partnering with Sorare is connected with the desire to present the Spartak brand on those “digital platforms where our fans and football fans are present, who may be interested in Spartak, who are close to the club’s history and values.”

Sorare also noted with great interest the new collaboration: as stated by Nicholas Julia, co-founder and CEO of Sorare:

“We are very proud to have signed this agreement with such a Russian top club.”

Earlier, on February 21, it became known that the platformSorare has entered into a similar agreement with the legendary Italian club Juventus. Obviously, the blockchain platform is focused on working with world-class football brands, and it does it. It is worth noting that the example of Juventus shows that football clubs in the world can not limit themselves to interest in the blockchain only through partnership with Sorare.

Famous Italian club since December 2019began issuing its own JUV token, with the help of which fans of this team will be able to take part in voting on the most important issues in the life of the club. Earlier, it became known about conflicting information about the alleged collaboration of the Tron team with the Liverpool football club.

The sports organization Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), for its part, entered into cooperation with Dapper Labs, known for the Ethereum game CryptoKitties.

UFC will release collectibles ondeveloped by Dapper Labs Flow blockchain. The two companies promise to provide “a new digital experience that will provide fans around the world with the opportunity to buy, trade and own UFC-branded digital collectibles.”

This is not the first experience of UFC working with crypto projects. Previously, she entered into an agreement with the Litecoin Foundation, in which she promoted the LTC brand.
