Facebook has developed a bracelet for mental control of the AR interface

Facebook has demonstrated a prototype of a neural bracelet that lets you manipulate virtual objects just by thinking about it.

The device consists of a built-in braceleta computer, a battery, an antenna, and a number of sensors that read electrical signals that travel from the brain to the muscles of the hand and fingers through neurons in the wrist. The system analyzes them and converts them into digital commands to control the AR interface. The bracelet will be able to sync with augmented reality glasses and other specialized devices.

Facebookalso plans to equip it with a reversetactile communication that will allow the user to “feel” touching virtual objects. In addition to various manipulations, using the bracelet, you can quickly enter text through the virtual keyboard.

The company claims that the system will only interpret specific neural signals for gestures, and not read the user's thoughts.

The social media giant is also developing smart glasses that can give users superhearing.
